Emma is a classically trained Actress, and Singer. Following her training at Drama School, Emma performed in various Productions, Films and Music Concerts. In 2016 Emma gained a Masters Degree in ‘Shakespeare and Theatre Studies’ from The Shakespeare Institute with the University of Birmingham, in association with the RSC.
Emma has specialist experience in voiceover and voice acting. In 2004 Emma was part of BBC Radio 2’s the big read in which she read the part of Estelle in ‘Great Expectations’ and in 2016 Emma performed for BBC Radio 3’s ‘Words and Music’ as part of the Shakespeare 400th Anniversary with the RSC, at ‘The Other Place’ in Stratford upon Avon.
Further still Emma has extensive experience in touring large scale, small budget theatre and has been involved in many touring productions; in 2008 she performed with Full Tilt Theatre Company in their ‘Shakespeare in a Suitcase’ tour of ‘A Comedy of Errors’ Directed by Emma Gersch, which toured around the USA and Canada. In addition Emma has performed and organised many national tours of the UK.
Not only does Emma specialise in Shakespeare, but her experiences as a Performance Singer has given Emma extensive knowledge of musical theatre training. Emmas focus is on an actor’s ability to perform music truthfully and to move between a song and a scene. Emma has been part of many musical theatre panels, and is on hand to give audition advice.
Alongside her Acting career, Emma currently offers 'One to One' coaching in the East Anglian and London areas. She performs Tempest Theatre’s Headlining Workshop ‘Shakespeare Demystified’ with the workshops creator Elliot James, and in 2017 Emma will be Directing both 'Blue Remembered Hills, and 'Twelfth Night' for Tempest Theatre.

Elliot James has been a professional Actor for many years. He has worked on the No.1 UK tour of Jane Eyre (Ian Dickens Productions), played the lead in Noel Coward’s Brief Encounter, Nick Dear’s The Art of Success and two productions at the Edinburgh Festival: Lies Told to Children and Polar Bears.
Elliot’s experience also includes many short films, including the Academy Award nominated The Library of Burned Books and television commercials (including a high profile national campaign for the Italian lottery).
For a number of years Elliot worked extensively for Big Wheel Theatre Company, presenting theatre workshops across Europe. (Holland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Finland, Sweden and Denmark.) Elliot has also performed farces by Phillip Ayckbourn with Quorum Theatre Company and has completed six extensive tours of France. Recently playing the criminal mastermind, Tony, in The Genuine Article.
Corporate work includes the NHS, TLS and Interact RGCP training.
Since 2007, Elliot has consulted with US Performing Arts. Advising on their diverse performing arts programs across North America. From stage and screen acting to writing and producing. Locations include UCLA, Pepperdine, Stanford, UC Irvine and now, Relativity Studio.
Elliot has also been an Assistant Course Director for Oxford Study Courses, overseeing students on IB exam revision courses at Oriel College, Oxford.
